Classics For All

At Classics for All our aim is to enable the introduction of one or more classical subjects in at least 1,000 state schools over the next ten years. For generations a classical education was seen as a mark of a ‘good education’ and its revival is well underway. This is because today’s teachers know that studying Classics:

• is intellectually rigorous and so improves pupils’ analytical skills,

• is a considerable advantage when learning modern languages, and

• develops all-important communication skills.

However, we need to fund the training of many more Classics teachers and provide them with the necessary resources – and we need your help to make this happen. As we are an independent charity, we rely exclusively on the generosity of our donors and sponsors.
